Blessed are the Persecuted

In the third episode with Paul-Anthony, Dan and Jo continue the conversation around coming out as a gay pastor the challenges this brought with it.

They discuss what it means to be gay and Christian and the misconceptions the church has with gay culture.

Paul-Anthony’s story of navigating his sexuality and his call to ministry within the church is definitely one that will inspire and encourage. It is a reminder that no matter what life throws our way, God is in control and is working out great things for you.

Born and raised in the church, Jo never expected to find himself being pushed out by it. While Jo’s journey of self acceptance and a search for belonging has been challenging, it led him to find a loving God who was far greater than the sum of his painful experiences and hurt and a return to the church of his childhood. He hopes that all will be able to experience, as he has, a love that not only transforms them but also changes the way they see others.
